The girls are finally getting out to enjoy some grass though we’re not leaving them out full time. In the evenings we will lure them home with a bit of grain.
It took a while to figure out but by the end of it shingles aren’t to tough.
The ducks have been taking themselves for long walks all over the property. This hen managed to get on the wrong side of the fence and just couldn’t seem to find her way home.
With the fields harrowed and the grass turning green it won’t be long before the girls get their chance to graze the summer away.
The girls have been eyeing up the grass in the garden area. Which is the first area to freshen up and since they won’t be in there after we have planted the garden I figure a little temporary fencing will give them something to do other than baaa at me all afternoon.
6 Fleeces in total from 2013 showed up today. I can’t believe how well they turned out!
