When there isn’t much to graze on the ground, the girls start to look upwards.
Shatner and Vonda consider their options at the beginning of courting season.
Luckily, Adrean plays well with others. He, the goats, and pretty boy will be separate from the ewes all winter.

Shatner and and the peahens now have free run at Stoneybrook. They are quickly making themselves at home.
Glad I was home for a few days and had an opportunity to pick up some beautiful 1st cut for the horses.
Sometimes the changes in a lamb’s fleece can be quite dramatic in the first few months and sometimes they may be subtle.
‘Mutton Chops‘ received her nick name early on from her distinctive facial colouring. These days she is a bit harder to distinguish from the crowd of other black lambs.
Two new additions to Stoneybrook are settling in to their new surroundings. The Berkshire cross weaners are from a good friend over at Root and Vine Acres.
